SPED 271 - Cognitive Development and Language Acquisition of Exceptional Children Periodically
A study of the neuropsychology of learning applied to an understanding of the
underlying deviations in children with learning disabilities. Atypical development
in thinking will be examined as it relates to the acquisition of language and
associated skills, mathematics and other school learning. Models of learning relevant
to the special educator will be explored.
Prerequisites & Notes SPED 246; corequisite: SPED 270.
