MGT 217 - Developing Leadership and Communication Skills A cross-functional integrative approach for examining, assessing, and developing
practical and personal leadership skills in an experiential forum. Participants
are guided in linking cognitive models of “people skill” techniques, awareness
exercises of personal skill proficiency, and skill improvement workshops. Topics
include personal problem-solving skills, motivating others, communicating supportively,
negotiating, gaining power and influence, managing stress, and bridging multicultural
differences in the workplace.
Prerequisites & Notes MGT 201C or approved equivalent.
